North Linden 1: Linview Park

Linview Park Construction: A Model for Future Parks

The Linview Park project supports wetland preservation and enhancement by expanding the wetland area from 0.25 acres to 0.82 acres as well as improving the quality of the wetland area to support native wildlife species.

This ambitious initiative, manages the stormwater in the neighborhood, by collecting stormwater runoff from the surrounding streets and filtering it before it returns to the Alum Creek tributaries. In addition, Linview Park boasts usable green space, increased safety measures, and new park equipment, to encourage healthy living for the community.

Linview Park can serve as a model for future projects, showcasing how different departments can continue to work together for the community’s benefit.
